Offers two major benefits:- Unsymmetrical sound distribution (SPL on deck 6-8 dB lower compared to conventional whistles)
- The sound propagation within the horn is unaffected by the outside temperature, heating of horn is thus not necessary.

Maintenance-free
Designed to withstand corrosion and to minimize the need for maintenance. The crankcase, motor and foundation are hot galvanized. The horn is made of white composite material. The cylinder is unlubricated and the gearbox is oil free. The piston rod bearing includes grease reservoir with a special device to minimise the grease losses.

Two ore more whistles:- Distance between whistles > 100 m:
whistles not allowed to sound simultaneously - Distance between whistles <100 m:
whistles allowed to sound simultaneously, frequency difference at least 10 Hz
